Mary McCullough


Mary has extensive marketing and product development experience in the healthcare insurance industry. She served as the marketing director for a national healthcare reinsurance broker and managing general underwriter. In addition, she has also worked for a major insurance company where she was responsible for the development of new products and marketing campaigns. Mary received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Mercer University, and a master's degree in management from Florida International University.

Leah Perry


Leah works as a Healthcare writer and market research specialist. She received her bachelor's in print journalism from the University of North Alabama. Prior to joining NIH, she worked as an editor and editorial manager for American Health Consultants, an international Healthcare publishing house and as a consultant with a pharmaceutical market research firm. Her work has been published in more than 50 Healthcare newsletters and magazines covering various aspects of clinical and Healthcare market research news and trends. Leah has conducted countless interviews in Healthcare facilities throughout the country and is skilled at facilitating thorough one-on-one research interviews as well as moderating focus groups with both high-level Healthcare executives and high profile clinicians.

Joe McNamara


Joe has been a valuable member of the NIH Research team for over nine years. Prior to joining NIH, Joe held the position of Market Research Consultant Product development for Viatical Insurance in Chicago. Joe also headed up the product launch for the Life Division with AON’s Combined Insurance Company of America. Joe has help administrator and development positions within insurance, healthcare and financial services organizations throughout his professional career with companies such as The Jacobson Group, Proctor and Gamble and Ethicon - Johnson and Johnson. Joe is a graduate of University of Illinois with a degree in Journalism, Advertising and Marketing.

Linda Herbert


In addition to joining the NIH Research team over a year ago, Linda has over 16 years experience in the national sales and marketing arenas of the pharmaceutical and medical industries working with an international search firm who enjoys a strong working relationship with some of the nation’s largest companies. For over five years, Linda conducted countless interviews for the sales and marketing division of GE Capital. Linda also handled the hiring and training of the firm's sales force. At the Corporate Headquarters and National Call Center of the largest recruiting firm in the country. Linda recruited, interviewed, hired and trained qualified customer service and sales representatives as well assisted in the interview and hiring process of all staff for new corporate locations throughout the United States.

Susan Lang


As a consultant, Susan delivers on her ability to partner with clients to maximize the results of each campaign. Before joining the NIH team, Susan supported twelve brands as the Marketing Research Manager at a major vaccines manufacturer. In that role, she primarily managed new product launches, direct-to-consumer advertising development, and creation of compelling sales messages. Her concentration on the healthcare industry began as a Research Analyst, and since has conducted thousands of telephone interviews with healthcare professionals. Susan earned a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University, and a certificate in Marketing Research from University of Georgia Terry College of Business, as well as a certificate in Effective Communications and Human Relations from Dale Carnegie. Susan has been an active member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association since 2003.
